Workshops created especially for yoga teachers
I often feel that as yoga teachers we are like ‘ships that pass in the night’.
These workshop style sessions are a space created out of my observed need for yoga teachers to connect with one another in a safe, non-judgemental space.
The session will allow you to dig deep into your own personal dreams & aspirations as a yoga teacher, as well as the niggles & issues that you might be facing.
I’d love to support you on your journey.

Hello!
I’m Zoe… I’ve been teaching yoga full time for over ten years and owned Blooming Bamboo for five.
For years I’ve informally supported new & experienced yoga teachers in a coaching & mentoring capacity. Supporting people is what I do naturally and it makes perfect sense to me that I would support yoga teachers on their journey in a way that I wished somebody had supported me.
And so this series of workshops was borne… bringing what I do best to a more formal setting in the hope of reaching many more yoga teachers who could use a little encouragement and support.
I must have made a million business mistakes over the past decade and I’m willing to share every single one with you so you don’t have to make the same mistakes.
At times I’ve often felt isolated as a yoga teacher, missing the colleagues I used to work with and knowing, but sometimes forgetting, that the students who turn up to practice are not my friends. Keeping boundaries can be hard.
Then there’s the unsociable hours we work and the realisation that yoga doesn’t always pay a great deal in comparison to how much we need to pay out to get qualified in the first place… not to mention all other costs that go with being in business.
For some, being a yoga teacher can often bring a feeling of overwhelm, imposter syndrome, lack of confidence & burn out as we try to be all things to everyone and forget that saying no is a (wonderful) option.
It’s easy to lose sight of the ‘why’ we’re doing what we do, and why we signed up for this path in the first place. I know I’ve often thought ‘what on earth am I doing’! And during these times it’s been a variety of mentoring, coaching and other tools that have helped bring me back to my centre and my truth.
If anything I’ve said above resonates with you, then I’d love you to join me on these workshops where I want you to know you’re not alone. And maybe with some guidance and support it might be possible to carve out the dream you thought you were getting when you signed up to become a yoga teacher.
My intention for the sessions is that you leave feeling rested, connected and maybe even re-inspired for the road ahead.
