It’s Mental Health Awareness Week from 14th – 20th May

Lucy is offering a Calm Yoga Flow followed by a lovely gentle relaxation.

In her workshop she aims to help you find that peace and calm within whilst also raising awareness of the cause. Within this session you will work on your inner strength and awareness, finding freedom in the practice of yoga.

The mental benefits of yoga are huge and Lucy herself is living proof of that. Lucy was suffering from depression and anorexia. She then found yoga, started practicing every day and soon her life changed for good. Her mood lifted, she became healthier, happier and began to love herself, her body and her life again. She is now teaching yoga and promoting a healthy balanced life with a goal to help and inspire others.

50% of the profits going to charity

The workshop is £12 with 50% of profits going to a North East based charity called uS. uS aims to empower young people with or at risk of developing mental health issues, to improve the quality of their lives through participating in sport and exercise. They provide small group and 1:1 activities on an outreach basis in Northumberland and Tyne and Wear, for young people aged between 12 and 25. They are committed to destigmatising mental illness, whilst promoting the recognised therapeutic and social value of exercise.
