I have to say it has been a joy beginning Yoga. Zoe is so supportive and warm. I would highly recommend her, even if you feel tentative, go for it, you won’t regret it.

Yoga doesn’t have to be a scary experience!

We know trying something new can be daunting. We have all been that new person in class, not knowing what to do and worrying about doing something silly.

You might be wondering if you’re the only one who can’t touch their toes (you won’t be), not knowing what a bolster is or which way to lay your mat (this might change depending on the teacher anyway… there’s no right or wrong way!)

We all know these thoughts, because we’ve all been there.

The students who practice yoga with Zoe are super friendly & welcoming and I know they’ll make you feel right at home… but I also know that isn’t enough to stop you feeling uncomfortable when you come for the first time.

That’s why I’ve created this workshop.

Let me tell you that this workshop is all about demystifying what goes on in a yoga session so when you rock up to your first ever class you’ll already feel like a pro.

So many people come to my yoga classes and wonder why they didn’t come sooner.

So I have to ask you this… if not now, when?

Yoga works on so many levels and is for everybody, including YOU.

After attending a beginners workshop with Zoe which was a great introduction to yoga, I was hooked! I have since attended classes and I can highly recommend!

About Zoe

I’m passionate about my own practice, although as I approach my fiftieth birthday it’s safe to say my practice has changed over the years. I’m forever grateful for all the teachings that yoga has given me that have helped me through many tough times in my life so far. It’s an honour and a privilege to be able to share these practices & teachings with people in Seaham.

I’ve been teaching mixed ability yoga classes for over 10 years and aim to bring a sense of fun, challenge and genuine relaxation into my classes.

A truly welcoming, kind and nurturing experience awaits you.

Had my first taste of Yoga today with Zoe. I loved every minute of it, it’s just what I need and now must find time to do more. Thanks for your patience and encouragement. Looking forward to starting some classes.

Who is it for?

This workshop is perfect for you if you want to try Zoe’s Yoga classes but don’t feel quite ready.

The aim of the session is to give you enough confidence and knowledge so that you feel ready to come along to my weekly classes.

So what’s the next step… jump right into the weekly yoga classes with Zoe.

They’re on…

  • Tuesdays 7am
  • Wednesdays 4pm
  • Fridays 9:30am

Who is it not for?

Yoga with Zoe requires a reasonable level of fitness… we practice Sun Salutations which means you must be able to get up & down from the floor. We also work with Plank Pose. So if this sounds impossible for you, then maybe this isn’t the right yoga for you.

This workshop also isn’t for you if you don’t want to continue to practice with Zoe. I am fully committed to supporting anyone who wants to continue to practice with me, either online or in person, but this workshop is purely about getting you confident and ready to join my regular classes.

So please only book if you are ready and willing to become a wonderful member of the Zoe’s Blooming Bamboo community.

Fantastic beginners course, highly recommend to anyone wanting to dip their toes in and see what it’s like.

I went to the “absolute beginner” workshop and had such a pleasant time. Zoe was amazing, she made me feel comfortable while pushing me out of my comfort zone and explained things really well. I couldn’t recommend Blooming Bamboo enough after my first experience with yoga there and can’t wait to get back.

If you’ve ever thought you’d like to try yoga but been a bit worried or shy, then Blooming Bamboo is the place for you.

Zoe could not be more supportive or caring, give it a go you’ll be made to feel very welcome.
