“The body is the vehicle, consciousness the driver. Yoga is the path, and the chakras are the map.”
— Anodea Judith

There are times when we feel disconnected from ourselves and others, when we feel overwhelmed, feeling limitations blocking our energy, feeling unworthy, stressed, or an inability to cope.

Chakra (pronounced ‘Chak-ruh’) in Sanskrit (the ancient language of India) is often translated as ‘circle or spinning wheel’ referring to centralised locations in the subtle body where subtle energy channels converge. They are the key to our emotional and spiritual well-being, impacting on our physical well being.

If you have not worked with this feature of your mind-body the idea may sound a little out there, however learning more about these energy centres can inspire us to understand ourselves on a deeper level.

Join me in this workshop on a curious journey of self discovery, bringing awareness to all the chakras working together to feel the flow of healthy energy creating a strong, balanced, radiant you. We will begin with pranayama (breathing exercise) followed by a talk/reading on chakras, chakra specific asanas ending with chakra specific mantra/meditation.
