I have to say it has been a joy beginning Yoga. Zoe and the other teachers are so supportive and warm, and encourage and nurture. I would highly recommend Blooming Bamboo, even if you feel tentative, go for it, you won’t regret it.
BRAND NEW – Yoga for beginners workshop
This workshop is perfect for you if you want to try yoga but don’t know where to begin!
Over the 2 hours you will learn about the equipment used in yoga, etiquette of a yoga class, simple yogic breathing, simple yoga poses, sun salutes, why the relaxation is important and best to enjoy it.
You will gain an understanding of the types of yoga available on our timetable and receive guidance as to which classes will be most suitable for you.
You will leave the workshop feeling confident enough to join our regular classes.
After attending a beginners workshop with Zoe which was a great introduction to yoga, I was hooked! I have since attended classes at the studio which has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the teachers are fab. I can highly recommend!
Yoga doesn’t have to be a scary experience!
We know trying something new can be daunting. We have all been that new person in class, not knowing what to do and worrying about doing something silly.
You might be wondering if you’re the only one who can’t touch their toes (you won’t be), not knowing what a bolster is or which way to lay your mat (this might change depending on the teacher anyway… there’s no right or wrong way!)
We all know these thoughts, because we’ve all been there.
The students who practice at Blooming Bamboo are super friendly & welcoming and I know they’ll make you feel right at home… but I also know that isn’t enough to stop you feeling uncomfortable when you come for the first time.
That’s why I’ve created this workshop.
Let me tell you that this workshop is all about demystifying what goes on in a yoga session so when you rock up to your first ever class you’ll already feel like a pro.
So many people come to our studio and wonder why they didn’t come sooner.
